Your Wine Guide Stephanie

I was born in the south of England and arrived in Burgundy freshly graduated from university 30 years ago. I obtained the Certificate of Specialisation in wine from the CFPPA in Beaune in 1998 and then had the wonderful opportunity and experience working for several local wineries for 10 years.

Since 2008, I have shared my passion for Burgundy through informative and enjoyable wine tours with guests from around the world. Burgundy has so much to offer—from its rich history and traditions to its gastronomy, picturesque villages, and vineyards shaped by passionate men and women over centuries.

I arrived in the region with very little knowledge. I learned everything I know about wine right here in Burgundy—which I consider the best wine school in the world—where generations of winegrowers have understood that remarkable wines come from the harmony of hard work and respect for nature. Driven by my passion to deepen my knowledge even further, I completed the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines in 2025.

I fully understand what people don’t understand about Burgundy and its wines. My role and goal as a wine guide is to make you feel that Burgundy is accessible and therefore enjoyable to everyone. The risk is that you will want to know more and become passionate yourselves about this unique and very traditional wine region.
